Sourcing

Two forests, two harvest calendars

Each lot is traced to the forest block it was picked in, the picker team and the day it came down the mountain. The Cordillera season starts a few weeks earlier than Yunnan’s, which widens the window for fresh material.

Lab & Quality

Every batch is photographed, logged and issued a certificate of analysis.

Identity is confirmed on morphology and ITS sequence before a lot is released. Moisture is measured by loss on drying. Heavy metals are screened per batch, because boletes from mineral-rich soils can accumulate cadmium and arsenic.

  • 12hmax from harvest to drying
  • <8%moisture ceiling, dried lots
  • 100%lots traceable to a forest block
